This bar has our same popular essential oil blend but with activated charcoal for extra cleaning and very gentle exfoliation.
Goat milk has been a popular skin care ingredient through the ages. Goat milk is high in butter fat and contains many beneficial vitamins and minerals. Our handcrafted soap is made with fresh goat milk from our own herd of Nigerian Dwarf goats.
Coconut oil is a common oil in natural skin care formulations. In soap coconut lends itself to excellent cleaning power and lots of fluffy lather.
Olive oil has been a popular conditioning ingredient in cosmetics and soap for thousands of years. It is known to create a gentle and moisturizing bar of soap.
Palm oil contains antioxidants is important for a hard, long lasting bar of soap. It is a common oil to use in place of animal fats in a traditional soap recipe. The palm oil we use is sustainably sourced.
Castor Oil is one of our favorite oils for skin care. It is easily absorbed by the skin and is also a humectant which means it helps draw moisture to your skin. In soap it helps boost the lather created by the coconut oil.
Sodium Hydroxide is commonly known as lye and a vital ingredient in the soap making process. Without lye you cannot have a true soap. When properly made soap should have no lye remaining in the finished product. We include more oil in our recipe than the lye can turn to soap leaving extra oils to help make a milder bar of soap.
Quality takes time and our bars are cured for at least 6 weeks for gentleness and durability. The bars are made in small batches and will vary in appearance slightly from bar to bar and batch to batch.
